Wah Problems

My Dunlop Crybaby has a fun little problem. It likes to cut out when I switch it on. It doesn't cut out, there's still some volume, but it's very quiet. Sometimes when I rock it back and forth for awhile it'll come back to full power. I'm guessing it has something to do with the pot, but I don't know. I've been using it for about 2-3 years. Help, please.

Is it a GCB-95 perchance? Mine also likes to mess around (I've had it for two years). I've had it repaired and it just broke again, so I'm on the lookout for a higher-quality wah now.

very likely is the pot. Wear spots on the resistive element or dirty contact on the wiper.

order up a new pot. most have a longshaft pot. take the case apart and find out the manufacturer of the pot and we can go from there. copy any numbers off of it.
