Wang Bar Problem

I had my vibrato bar in my guitar when I put it in its case. I didn't close it, I just laid the lid down for about an hour, now I have this loose spot on the bar when you spin it. Anything I can do to solve this problem?

Does just the arm have a "loose" spot or does the arm holder spin, also?

The entire holder spins no matter where its turning, but the bar usually stays in place other than that "one spot" where the bar was depressed in the case.

Sounds like you just need to tighten the arm holder.

You don't think any permanent damage was done? And how do I tighten the holder?
