What Edge to choose???
Something I have yet to decipher for a project I have is what tremolo to use. I want to get an
Edge
, but I'm not sure which one to get, there are many!

Re: What Edge to choose???
I'm not the kind of person that will be dive bombing, but I want a tremolo which I could use to perform some wicked, rapid fast solos and licks. I'm into metal, I need something that is solid, that will last, and is sure to stay in tune. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll consider it
. Does anyone else have something in mind?

Lo-pro Edge. It's like an edge... just better.

I'd go for edge, it's like the lo-pro, except (to me) looks cooler and it doesn't sit on an angle.

I own both the original and the lo-pro. they are both
great but if I was to choose I would go with the original.
I think it flutters a little better.

Re: What Edge to choose???
a tremolo won't allow you to do "wicked, rapid fast solos and licks" . If anything it would slow you down since you would have to stop picking to work the bar.
If you don't know what type of edge to choose, then it probably be best to save a whole lot of money, and get a more commonly available Licensed Floyd or an OFR. For people with little experience tremolos, there will be little appreciable difference.

Re: What Edge to choose???
I would go with an OFR for a project guitar. Common as dirt, robust, well-known and well-tested. You can't go wrong with one of those.
