What neck for P90's

I'm putting together a Tele project guitar. The body has been routed for 2 P90 pups. I've sorted all the hardware - gotoh bridge, std tone/vol/3 way selector and the only thing I've got to get is the neck.

What would you recommend for the neck? maple or maple/rosewood or maple/ebony?

I've had a quick scoot around and the vast majority of guitars I've seen appear to have the maple/rosewood combination.

I know that there's more to 'what sounds best' than just the neck combination, but I'm just open to any input from any guys here who have anything loaded with P90's

Well, if you're going for the true Tele sound (the "twang" and bite), then obviously you'd go with a maple fretboard.
