Where can I buy that 'brandplate' at the headstock?

Hey guys. I was wondering if there are any online stores which sell the plate at the headstock of the guitar. It has the word Ibanez printed on it. I think my guitar would look cooler with a black one so I was wondering if I could buy just that part from somewhere and put it on my guitar.

its called a truss rod cover. you can get them at pretty much any guitar part store online. surf the internet!!

I'm not referring the the truss rod cover. I meant the piece of plastic with the brand Ibanez printed on it.

that's actually painted on more often than ever and it's simply a decal applied over the clearcoat .

Google "ibanez decal" and you will find plenty of options. Just don't put it on a copy and try to pass it off as legit . . .

the only Ibanez i know with a headstock plate is the jem10th.....

It would help if you told us what model Ibanez you are referring to.

I am using a Jem555. The part I am talking about is like a piece of plastic with the brand printed on it. It covers the headstock.

No way man. I got it from a reputable store here. They wouldn't cheat people. And the guitar is as real as they get.

I just can't describe that part. Maybe it isn't sold anywhere...

It looks like plastic, but trust me it's painted on and has heavy set of clearcoats on it. I used to think it was plastic too, but it just isn't. If you damaged it, the only way to return it to it's original finish is to sand through the clearcoat, repaire any wood chips you might have, paint it white, clear coat it again, and then place another "ibanez" decal over the white clearcoated head stock.

Headstock plate? I have no idea what you guys are talking about. The JEM 555 doesn't have a plate on it. As it's been said above the only Ibanez with a plate I can think of is the JEM 10th.
