Where is everybody putting their 9volt when the switch to actives?

Im thinking about going to blackouts in my rgt42 and was wondering what everyone was doing with the battery. Are people just stuffing them down inside the pocket with the pots and selectors or actually routing out another hole and getting a cover?

I glued a battery holder to the control cavity cover back when i put real EMGs in a ZW Epi Les Paul...

The fewer holes a guitar has routed, the better

I find plenty of room in most rear-routed Ibanez cavities, you just want to wrap the battery in some foam or something. I had EMGs in an RG550 for a short time and did have some trouble getting the pickguard back on with the battery at the bottom of the compartment, but it did work well enough eventually.

The hardest part is getting the batteries in there!

I think all except for two of my EMG equipped guitars have the 18v mod done. I personally think it makes a pretty big difference.
