where to buy locking nuts?

I'm looking for a floyd rose L4 locking nut for my rg (current one is in bad shape) and the only place that has them is warmoth, the problem is they only take credit cards..

is there any other place that sells them?

guitarpartsdepot.com

But why aren't you putting a real Ibanez nut on it?

Re: where to buy locking nuts?

hm, thanks, i'll have a look.

I figured the floyd type would last longer than the stock ibanez type? i have a stock one on there now and it has grooves in the baseplate.. from the original owner storing it locked down for a year or so.

meh, they are out of black ones and they are listed R4.. Maybe a stock one wouldn't be so bad.. at least they are available.

Re: where to buy locking nuts?

www.stewmac.com carries the real Floyd Rose brand. *Bay usually has several listed as well.

Re: where to buy locking nuts?

Last time I looked Stewmac does not carry the actual Floyd Rose products. I have the nut they sell, it not very good quality and has a 14" radius. Their "Floyd Rose" style tremolo is Schaller.

You know where you might look is floydrose.com. The horses mouth. I bought some trem arms from them because I wanted the old wrench tightened collar (not finger tightened).
