Where to get an Ultra-Neck

Hi there,

I am planning to build my very own custom Radius. Since this is my first project I think about buying the neck... if I can get one...

So: where can I get an Ultra neck without Top Lock, since I am planning to have a Tune-O-Matic Style Bridge.

EDIT: thinking about it I think this belongs into the 'Tech'-Section.... if a mod could please move it there... thanx

the closest is the Wizard-II found on the RG421 (and now on the RG321). Buying a 321 for neck (and maybe some parts) could be cheaper than an aftermarket neck... glen

If you're not too interested in the ibanez headstock, you could always get one of those countless strat replacement necks off ebay. Should be a direct fit.

Or a Carvin. It's not an ultra, but the ultra WAS my fave neck. Now I prefer the Carvin, though I did sand it down a little. The new ones are compound radius, too. Best neck out there for $130, IMO.

No problem with fitting it into the body.... the body is the part I want to do on my own

@All: thanx for the quick answers
