Which new trem for RG 270?

I'm currently modding my 1994 RG270.
I know it's not a high end Ibanez but it was my first Ibby all those years ago and I love the neck on it.
I decided she deserved some attention after years of not playing her, due to faulty electrics etc, new rg550 etc.

So I stripped her horrible metallic crimson paint off and gave her an oil finish, installed some bright green dimarzios, new pots and switch, black pickguard and black hardware.

The original bridge is a chrome 'licensed under floyd rose patents' speedloader.

I want a black floyd.

Do you think I should go with a black version of the original, or would you recommend something better?

Please give accurate details so I can google and buy.

Thanks

Thanks Homebake

I've found this - has everything I need but it seems too little money to be genuine.
Do you guys think this is fake?

i think the one you linked is a shoddy licensed copy. if you want an original floyd rose, check out this:

Re: Which new trem for RG 270?

Thanks mate
I was very sceptical about that cheap one, I mean a proper locking nut can cost that!
Anyways I've found a Squire strat in my local guitar shop with a genuine floyd on it for Ģ129 which has all the hardware I need to finish my project.
I reckon I'll swap the floyds over and resell the squire.

Cheers for your help

I'll post up some pics of the project soon

Matt
