why strings bending on my chromeboy feels better then the jem?

i find my jem's tension much stiffer then on the chromeboy and i wanna know why


i setup bot guitar with same angle of the trem, same strings, same height

still on the chromeboy its easier to bend a string


is it cause of the bridge? (edge vs lo pro edge)

Are you sure that your strings are stretched all the way? Are the strings the same gauge? Also if the Chromeboy has more springs than the Jem, it will make the trem stiffer, but it'll be easier to bend strings.

and both guitars have 3 springs

There are gold Edge Pros.
You can put on more than 3 strings by taking off the plate that holds them in and putting the spring in the screw holes.
The difference may be due to the different radii of the two fretboards?
In my opinion, a backstop would make it more difficult to bend, but that's me.

I'm pretty sure the scale is the same for the JEM and the JS, 25.5" but the radius would probably be a contributing factor as would the age of the springs.
