As for you guitar, I made an educated guess as to what might be wrong and suggested a solution, had you been less obnoxious I might have continued to assist you in solving the problem.

Algiman, I wasn't upset at you, I'm sorry if my post conveyed otherwise. I do appreciate the attempt to help.

It just kinda bugs me that I sift through hundreds of "thanks Rich" posts, hundreds more "congrats myself i got a jem" posts, and who knows how many more "help me I can't set up a floyd" posts that don't get tampered with at all, yet I ask a legitimate and relatively obscure question that couldn't possibly be resolved with search (as I DID try to do) and my post is locked down before ANYONE other than you can respond to it. Truly, who'd have guessed that you weren't supposed to post about a Jem guitar in the "Jem and Universe" forum? As I never read the "tech" forum (although I did search it for relavant posts related to my topic) I just assumed it was more of a modification and repair forum, than a place to look for possible defects in brand new guitars.

I'm not sure i'd call myself a "new" poster, I've been around a while, I just refrain from posting when I don't have anything relevant or profound to add.

Second, if this is how new people can expect to be treated, I can see why.
