Wilkinson VS50 bridges - I think mine is totally worn off...

I have a Cort S2600 equipped with a Wilkinson VS50 tremolo. Suddently, it started to "eat" strings. I had to get a new set every two weeks! So I put some graphite in the saddles and now it's a little better. What's really my problem?? I don't have too much experience with these tremolos!
