Will another trem fit the Edge cavity? - Edges are scarce an

Hi, everybody

I'm just wondering if another trem (like an OFR) will fit into the standard Edge trem rout. Now that we're nearly settled in our new house, i really want to get rolling on my project guitar in the next few weeks.

However, a new or used chrome Edge or Lo-Pro trem seems to be a difficult item to locate, and they're absurdly expensive.

Any advice?

i've seen OFRs in RG550s and above. They should fit no problem. Still i'd ask about a 'return policy' if it's not to your liking. I'd look for a used edge on ebay (tough with the conversion rate i know). Good luck... glen

I put my OFR in my S body Lo-Pro route while I got parts for the Lo-Pro. *The action was a little off due to the flat base plate but at least it worked.
