Will Original Floyd Rose Fit in RG route?

Hey guys,

I have a RG 350 guitar and was wondering if a Original Floyd Rose would fit in to the Tremolo Route... Note: Not the Floyd Rose PRO.... I know that it will fit but the original is cheaper... Thanks for anyone who Helps me out!!!

I have installed OFR in RG520,570,550 and 320 without modification so I know they fit in an Edge route and TRS or whatever that thing was in the RG320. There is a tread on here about this subject if you do a search.

I've seen a guy on youtube with a rg350dx and he replaced the edge 3 with a ofr... I can't remember if it was a "true" fit or if he had to modify it.

So, it can be done.

Check out a Gotoh FR. The last three guitars I put together I used a Gotoh instead of an OFR and I'm very happy with them. You get a brass sustain block and locking studs with them.

Just Finished it, put the Original Floyd In Fits pretty well, i had to sand just a bit to get a perfect flow. Im going to post a link here in the next couple of days of the full guitar.

Wired as a Hum Canceling Setup with multipole switch
