Will the warranty of a new guitar cover this?

I bought my RGT3020FM new from a dealer last September and now that the guitar has accommodated to the new "environment" in my apartment I've gotten problems with the intonation; When I set the intonation right at 12th fret when changing new strings, I get problems with the intonation on E-,A-,D- and G-strings. The notes on those strings get sharp from the 15 fret and up but the B- and E-strings stay in tune on all frets. The frets need to be levelled, I think, to fix this problem and I was wondering if the warranty of a new guitar covers it?

Thanks

I wouldnt think so because it was due to an envirnment change and not manufacterer error.

It wouldnt hurt to just bring it to the store and have it looked at, you could just need a simple setup, and if it is more, maybe they will take care of it since the guitar isnt that old.

It won't be covered by the warranty because it most likely just needs to be setup right.

Sounds like you're using an average tuner and the 12th fret is not a good fret to use to intonate. 17th - the 24th [I prefer last fret] will give you a much more accurate setting, especially if you're not using a .1cent strobe.

Hmmmm, thanks for the tip, Rich! I'm gonna change the strings sooon and I'm gonna do the intonation on 24th fret. I've been using Seiko's tuner but I also might test G-Majors tuner on the more accurate mode.

Thanks!
