My advice would be to take time to learn about restringing a tremolo guitar, by using search functions, and other resources like the Ibanez Rules site. Take time to understand how they operate and all your questions will be explained.

Re: Wont stay in tune

Whenever you tune a floyd rose that floats, the tremolo system moves ever so much each time you change tension on the strings. The key thing to try to remember to make this easier is to change strings one at a time. The thing you missed out on, is that you need to properly stretch and tune to pitch each string you change, so that the guitar isnt all out of whack and it still may need minor adjustments. If your young find a friend who uses the floyd rose tremolo even if its someone older, and have him show you how to set it up. This will be crucial help

Re: Wont stay in tune

If your strings are stretched out, and it still doesnt stay in tune, its more than likely the nuts arent tightened(the 3 nuts at the top of your fretboard).Dont tighten the crap out of them, just a little past what your finger could do. What happens is that the keys will slip as you put tension on the strings. If that doesnt work, and the guitar is older, you may want to change the trem springs.
