Working around bridge pieces...

Hey guys, so now that my Kramer is almost fully disassembled there's two things I'm noticing :

A. The pieces where the TOM and Stop-tail go in are still on the body and a pain in the ass to get off. Should I just sand around them or what do those of you who have repainted done?

Looks like this : http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w...t=DSC01673.jpg

B. How do I remove the volume and tone knobs? Do I have to take the pots out as well?

Yes you remove everything if you want to do it right.

I have to ask why do you want to mess with that beautiful flamed top?

I don't mind the flamed top but I wanna do a custom paint job so that requires me to remove, like you said, everything; including the old paint

OK, so...how exactly do I go about removing the pots? One of the knobs (volume) just came fight off but the Tone one is still on there pretty tight and I don't wana do any harm
