Yesterday my RG350 fell on the floor

Well, yesterday my guitar was on it's stand, and I lifted a card box and it fell, hitting the back of the body and back of the headstock

I didnt notice changes on the sound, but something "shakes" on the headstock now.

I am not sure if it did that before, but I think it is kind of a natural reaction to shake something after it falls....

Excuse my poor English but I believe you can understand my problem...

Is it normal to make that sound?
Maybe the truss rod got released?

Can anyone with an RG350 please shake the headstock and report back?

Re: Yesterday my RG350 fell on the floor

I placed my hand on the locking nut, to see if it was shacking, nope...
Basically, on the headstock, I placed my hand on basically everywhere...

BUT!

I opened the location of the Truss Rod, to find that THERE IS NOTHING THERE!

Is it Inside the neck, or am I missing a piece?

Re: Yesterday my RG350 fell on the floor

Look down in there. You should see a nut on a threaded shaft. The space directly under the cover is for getting the adjusting wrench access to the nut. I doubt that kind of fall would damage the truss rod. If that is the problem, it was probably like that before.
I had a Les Paul fall off a stand once because I didn't notice that the guitar cable had flipped the lower "forks" upside down. It sat on there for awhile but at some point went sliding off. The fall broke the headstock almost off the neck. Now I check the stands every time I put a guitar on them.

Re: Yesterday my RG350 fell on the floor

what could be shaking inside my headstock?

Well, basically, this must be a really sturdy guitar.
I dont notice any change on the sound, maybe everything is alright?

I really hate that sound and feeling of something shaking...

lol thank you for your help

Could be the machine heads as mentioned by someone else. The threaded insert that attaches the machine head to the headstock could have snapped. You can get replacements from your local Ibanez retailer if that is the case.

If it's happened you should be able to move the nut looking bit on the machine head freely.

No you have misunderstood what I said. Of course you can move the tuner and it not change tune, the nut is locked I'd imagine. You'll break the strings if you do that.

The nut looking part around the post of the machine head is what I'm talking about.

Re: Yesterday my RG350 fell on the floor

PROBLEM SOLVED!
Haha sorry for not replying earlier, but I was out of Internet

The metal "Circles" that separate the bolts that are "attached" to the Locking Nut, got a bit loose, so I just had to screw it a bit to make it "normal" again.

Damn, I don't know why, but my grammar skills are going down like crazy
