First of all the trem studs are not the same spacing so you need to fill them and drill new stud holes. Then flip the guitar over and you need to route the
spring cavity another inch(more or less) toward the neck. Take a good look at the routing on the S types to see what I mean. It can be done, but its not for the faint of heart. Yes, I chickened out myself and I have been known to attack a
guitar body now and then.
