2003- Better, more sensible Ibanez?

Hello everyone. i'm very happy with the new 2003 range thusfar, despite not trying one yet...

what's everyone's opinion on Ibanez with regards to the new models? i'm really happy with the revised trems, especially when the EPII bridge add credit to the Korean models... kudos to the company for giving their entry level models a much needed boost. so other entry level brands, beware...

Yeah. Ibanez have done a brilliant job. For next year, you could start putting infs and AH pickups in the lower end models which now have powersounds in..?

(Well done on the new trems though! a £300 guitar with the same trem as a Jem?! Excellent!!)

It's not the same... but it's a remarkable improvement over the TRS series, and should narrow the performance gap a lot.

yup- that's a sensible revision. people who bought the TRS equipped guitars were pissed not by the guitar itself but the dysfunctional trem...

kinda dissapointed...

Dont get me wrong i think the new trems are crazy on the new lineup... but theres one guitar in particular that ibanez screwed me over on!
i was thinking of buying the rg421 or sumthing similar, and then they come out with the rg321.. so now im forced to scramble and find 421's anywhere i can before its all gone. They should have came out with an upgraded version.. or if they did can u guys show :P

No prestige hardtail in the USA, but available in Japan.

Just find a leftover 421 and quit tormenting yourself ...glen
