7string s series... - ...with a lo pro trem!!!!

Hiya,

Just wondering if there would be anyone along with me that would like to see a 7 string sabre with a lo pro edge tremelo system? I'd also like a H/s/H configuration. I have always liked sabre's and have owned one for several years, and when guitar shopping I wanted to get a 7 string in that style, but wanted a lo pro trem as well. i know they were made in the past (H/S/S), and would very dearly love to see one again. I think they are wicked guitars, and stand out, and would buy one if it was ever produced! They would also be wicked with a double edge (but I think that that is just dreaming, but it would be well cool!)
Maybe a prestige model or something? But I would want one in black(but nice funky woody finishes will go down well too!)!

pwetty pwetty please (big doe eyes and pleading look )

James

I want a S-series 7 string, 2 humbucker + 1 single, 24 frets, jumbo frets, bound neck, reversed head stock (so my hair don't get stuck on the tunning heads LOL)
Colours: FM TTS, SOL, Burst stained Blue/Green/Purple etc. Gold hardware, pearl oval inlay, 2 Dimarzio Evolution.
Call that the Herman Li Signature Series bwahaahah!
I better wake up back to this world hahaha!

You know, that's the first time i've ever heard of that as a rationale for a reverse headstock.

It's true! My hair gets stuck on the tunning heads all the time on stage! GRRRR!!
On the DiMarzio quick lock straps too.. so I then changed to Jim Dunlop Strap retainner. Now it gets stuck on the strap retainner thing too.. brutal! Reverse head stock can eliminate some of the problems with the long hair past my knees

If they made one of these in sleek black I'd go for it. I love the s-series shape, I like black, like reverse headstocks and like my sabre's HsH config. I can live without 24frets though, although it would be nice. And single coils on 7's do add a lot of versatility.

Anyway, pickups can be stock as well, although dimarzio's would be nice.

I can dream....

I concur. *If the S models had 24 frets, I probably would buy one, but the short scale and lack of variety in the upper end (What if I don't want an ugly wood grain S570?) make it prohibitive for most buyers.

I'm sure the majority of the S line have always been 25.5" scale length guitars, there were a few 24.75" scaled guitars made inthe mid 90s. But one like the S540 and such have the same scale length as the JEM.

Scale length is the same as my jem, 25.5" (s540).

Then again, I don't mind not having 24 frets, as seeing as the neck pup is nearer the nut, I can get that really thick lead tone. I actually really like that sound, so I'd not really mind missing out on 2 frets...

Please make one of these puppies! I don't need new clothes/shoes/food if this gets produced!

you all must have tiny fingers to get into those super high frets! i don't mind 24 frets, but the neck pickup tone is much fatter with 22.
