This is awesome, but given that this is the "Comments to Ibanez" section, it would better off in other section, like the 7 string forum. Nice work though

oop, never saw which section, but it does say something that people are making thier own guitars in the style of the RGA or xxxx model because the style is present straight from the manufacturer and the guitar is desrable but the specifications are not.

anyway, I have an RGA with spalted beech top coming soon , I dont think Ibanez will make one of those.

Carvin is as custom as I'll ever be interested in going.
I guess I'm an exception then... my KxK cost about the same as a new UV, took 11 months, and is by far the sweetest guitar I've ever played. To be honest though I ordered it on a special introductory pricing offer, so it would be more expensive now.

To be on topic though, yeah a production RGA7 would be awesome

Re: A Prestige 7 String RGA

archtop, neckthru RG 7 string with a floating bridge?!!? HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. Garuanteed sale right here if Ibanez makes it. No question - like the dude on 7stringorg said - 'money in our wallets and lust in our hearts'.

There's money to be made here!!

Re: A Prestige 7 String RGA

Okay, RGA7 indeed.
what would you like to see on this guitar? You want a bolt on guitar or neck through?
How about tremolo or non tremolo? How much price range should be?
Please give us little more specific detailed information.
I can't promise you guys anything yet but I will present "RGA7" idea to the Hoshino Gakki guitar meeting next time.

Re: A Prestige 7 String RGA

Preferably tremolo and neck-thru, but if it can help keep the price within that of the other Prestiges, than i think we could settle for a bolt on. Let's try to stray away from the boring black, and more into those really nice finishes you guys whip up. Like the sprakly paint on the 1570s. Price range could go from 1100 - 1600 CAD. I mean, i would pay that. These guitars play way above their value, so we should keep it that way

I would buy RGA7 in any color, bolton or neckthru.
Even living in the 3rd world.
Tak, we trust you!
