A Prestige 7 String RGA
Just like the Xiphos 7, there has been a lot of interest over at sevenstring.org about a 7 string RG (mostly people say they want one that is not made from basswood). I'd buy one. It would be the answer to many people at ss.org's prayers, ha ha.
Just a suggestion.

That thing is the real deal, absolutely. I'd get one of those on day one no matter the cost, and there's damn few guitars I would say that about.

I honestly can't tell if you were being sarcastic, so I'm sorry if you were, but he's Buz McGrath from Unearth, which is why he may sound familiar.

Missed this post originally, but in my opinion customs almost never work out the way you hope they will and cost a fortune in both cash and wait times. Put something in my hand and tell me the price, and I'll be interested. Sell me an expensive wish a year or two down the line...no thanks. Been there, done that, no interest in going back. Carvin is as custom as I'll ever be interested in going.

I appreciated reading that post Jim. I've always worried about a full custom with all the expense and wait only to be dissapointed when it arrived.
Not to compare some of our great vendors with them but I think of the debacle we saw around here from the short lived vendor peddling the EVH/Jem customs. Those memories keep me at bay on custom work.
I would like to get a neck inlayed with custom pyramids at some point but the cost of a refret and inlay work seems to be so expensive that is has kept me from going that route.
Back on topic: I hope to see the RGA line expand in lots of directions. One of the best ideas to come from Ibanez in many years IMHO.

Yeah I totally was - Unearth is wicked. III: in the eyes of fire is one of the best albums of all time in my opinion. I mean it just sounds like everything came together perfectly. I mean Id rank it right up there with Arch Enemy - Wages of Sin. Both killer albums. Cool that he posts on this forum.
