A Prestige/Tele

I want a Prestige that sounds EXACTLY like a Tele. Not sorta like it, not really close to it. But like an American Tele. Only shred friendly.

haha

I'll keep dreamin.

Uh, good luck Darin......

If you want a user friendly Tele, you'd most likely be better getting a neck to your spec and body from Warmoth, and a bunch of Callaham hardware, and simply putting one together.

Re: A Prestige/Tele

Ibanez already made a tele look-a-like long ago, it even had an edge. I saw one for sale on the bay a while back.

That's it Mark....but when you say "shred friendly" do you mean it must have a floating trem? If not, an American Tele is great for shredding and you get a chunky feel, great tone and it feels great. You should try one...but make it an American - not Hway 1 or Mex etc.

What about any shredder who plays a Les Paul.... come to it, some of the full-on country pickin' Tele wranglers shred as hard as any rock player - except dead clean into the bargain!
