Bring back the UVMC! Please!
I think everyone would like to see the return of the UVMC maybe with some more options (body wood,
fretboard wood
, pickup config).
It would be welcomed.

Agreed on the UVMC...Maybe leave the options up to Steve since it was his baby to start with, but please bring it back. Normal production for a year. (no 2kDNA #s)

If there are any upgrades or changes due for the UV line in 2K&1, my hopes are that the
double edge bridge
will not be an RG exclusive thing. *IMO a peizo equip bridge is a big selling point. It only makes sense to equip Ibanez’s top-o-the line 7-string guitar with the extravagant bridge.
A UV-MC, new or used has always been on my wish list. *I will be thrilled to see the UV line stay in production period. A new MC or some creative updates to the UV777PBK would make me ecstatic and probably lure me back into using my credit card.

I would appreciate a new UV-MC.
I would in less than .00004% of my heartbeat, buy one (or two or three). ESPECIALLY IF ATD does the new swirls...
I think we've all mentioned this...where is the UV 10th?
;-)

Maybe a reissue would push the used prices down out of the stratosphere, too! ...tho' I don't suppose Ibanez actually feels too concerned about that

I also would like to see a
UVMC reissue
. At normal production cost though no limited editions. With teh
black headstock
not swirled.
Let Steves blood stay in his veins if you do swirl the UV's

Why dont you guys just get your own built?? Pleading our case to Ibanez is useless and in the end will cost more and have less options than you can get your own built for!
I have had one built and painted by Darren and it is far superior IMO. :-)
Look into it guys.........You can start with a body and a little cash and go from there.

tommy, if (and I think we all know this is a huge IF) Ibanez actually did their own multicolor, you'd be looking at a whole line of them. *Let me try to explain my point more.
If you have ATD, or any reputable artist do a swirl for you, the chances are that it will be well done, and to your specifications. *However, if you have a production run made of them, you get to take your pick of them. *I'd love to choose out of 40 swirls. *I'm sure all of us has seen one swirl that we liked a lot less than others. *By having a whole line of them, this provides the customer with more choices. *Also, if you break your custom UV's neck, you're pretty much screwed, but if you break a
production model
's neck-you may be out some C-notes, but you can get a pretty similar replacement.

Hell yeah! UVMC's are awesome and they need to put out another, something that doesn't cost a fortune. I think a nice blue toned UV swirl would be choice.

I think an Abalone Swirl like Glen's GC Custom would be sweet too

Swirl Finish for all!
Ibanez should really bring back the multi's as a regular production model like the good old days. All the players I know would bye one in a heart beat. I've tried to cotact ATD about getting one of my Jem's swirled but they never replied!!! Does anyone know how to do it or where I can get it done in the UK??? (Ibanez, PLEASE bring them back so you can have my cash instead!!!)
