Carbon Ibanez?

Maybe Tak can answer this? Have you ever fiddled around with carbon fiber guitars? I am in a process to make one and I am using RG as a template. (I have done lot of other things out of carbon. Bike, aeroplane, furniture etc etc)

I would like to make two and send one to Tak if you are interested.

I believe Ibanez did a model for Stanley Jordan back in the day that had an Ibanez/Modulus carbon fiber neck.

Nope, I've never even tried to make carbon fiber guitars. How's sound like? My son's Mazda RX-7 FD has alot of those carbon fiber thing on his car, and his little car is LOUD. Not on my '97 Firebird WS-6 though........

Ive played Modulus basses that have a carbon fiber neck. Its super stiff. I thought that the modulus genesis series was the most interesting using tone woods and carbon to stiffen the neck. Some high end luthiers use carbon rods to reinforce their necks.
