Re: Custom models pics from the Custom Shop?

Holy.....Mary.....Jesus!?!?!

Thats quite possibly the hottest guitar I have ever seen. Seriously.

If Ibanez release those things again - nearly everyone on these boards would own at least one of them. And god knows who else.

Such an awesome guitar.

+1 Great Thread, it's interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes.

Mr.Hosono, did Dino Cazares ever come close to a signature guitar, or wasnt it what Ibanez were looking for?

That's an awesome PII Tak!!!!!!!

What is the actual name of that colour paint by the way.

It looks like it could be the same colour as my 7 string LACS and i've never really known what to refer to the colour as.

More LACS guitar pics would be cool too please.

Would that mean that this guitar is not really a neck through but rather a Set-thru?? Still a very cool guitar none the less.

Re: Custom models pics from the Custom Shop?

That neckthrough 540PII with a giger art on the front would sell very well IMHO.

Besides, the 540P, like the Iceman, the destroyer and the ghostrider are among the best designs you ll see on any guitar brand. They should always be in production, at least with one available finish/specs each.

Ibanez is without a doubt the most succesfull design house in the guitar industry

The S, SC, R, RG, GR, PII, IC and even the Destroyer are all beautifull and unique instruments. The starfield SJ Cabriolet (super tele) should also be introduced as a regular Ibanez model as it is the most beautifull variation ever made on the telecaster design.

The thing is, with so many interesting models, it would be a pain in the ass to have them simultaneusly in production. But they deserve to be.

Since the CNC programas are there and they could be routed in Korea or Japan, this is one more good reason to bring back the assymbly shop they had in the early 90s. Not only to order colours, but to be able to order any of this amazing models. Since the S, R (JS), and IC are in production, the "only" additions would be the GR, SC, PII and SJ Cabriolet; I know its a lot... but they are all beautifull instruments.

To bad the GR was only released as a low end MIK instrument, and that the SJ Cabriolet was released within the starfield brandname. They never really got a chance.

I always remember the 540P with the practice what you preach art on the front as the guitar I wanted the most back then.

Its a very nice guitar (though the colour is not my cup of tea). I really hope it gets released.
