Re: Dear Mr Hosono

PGM200! The sad thing about the PGM300 is that its just like the 301 that i have with a trem. Its too similar to the only PGM that we have had the option to buy for what seems like forever.

Re: Dear Mr Hosono

How about a real request? Tak, why not put stainless steel frets on the JS and Jems?

Re: Dear Mr Hosono

I'm not very big on stainless steel frets on any guitar, including my guitars.
I don't like the brighter stainless wire sound very much and wire feels bit weird to me.
Factory don't like them because very difficult to work with and destroy their tools.
Some people love them, some don't.
I don't think suited for everybody.

Re: Dear Mr Hosono

Mr Hosono,
Hi, there has been much speculation already on the subject of a new Jem guitar, with some tantalising hints from Mr. Vai...
I understand you may be limited in what you can say, but can you possibly confirm whether this model will be a normal production model alongside the existing models, rather than a special restricted or anniversary type issue?
Thanks for your attention,
Jim

Either that or a prestige RGA 7 string. RGAs are my favorite guitars. I would buy this guitar in a heart beat.
Thanks
Mr. Hosono has been trying to get us an RGA7 for years Check this thread - go straight to the top of page 11 (post #151)

Doesn't mean you have to put SS frets on all the guitars, just several models with that feature. Everyones tastes are different, and I for one like the thought of not having to worry about fret wear.

You got me on the destroying-factory-tools part, but companies like Carvin seem to pull it off.
