Destroyer with Prestige neck through and ZR trem

Are you guys at Ibanez considering to make a series of these?

I would love a few guitars like this.

Destroyer
Body mahogany
Prestige neck through (like the RGT320.....but maybe in also mahogany )
ZR trem
Tone Zone
Paf Pro
Color options: White and Black
Japan or US built

What do you guys mean?

Am I the only one who thinks that explorer/destroyer design is a classic?

Nope, probably not! It's just that Ibanez will never give you those kind of options.

Exactly, your dreamin.

Ibanez doesn't care what we think. They just do whatever suits them.

Resistance is futile. You will LIKE black guitars....

Check out the pointy looking beast in the new X series line up. That's probably the closest you'll get. I kind of want one. That V is pretty sweet too.

Really? You like them? That Les Paul style guitar is horrid! Especially that really bizarre shaped one.

Meh each to their own, eh?

Re: Destroyer with Prestige neck through and ZR trem

They did actually do a Ltd.edition re-issue of the classic Destroyer a few years back (think it was called the DT420)that was very nice.Binding on the neck with nice pearl and abalone block markers with a Candy Apple Red (like the original DT-50 color but they used to call that Fire Red)finish. It was available in a black pearl colour too.

I think it was supposed to be for the Japanese market only but there were quite a few floating around outside Japan.

Edit: Just found an old link to info about it now and a picture of the Black one.It was released in '02
