I recently aquired an RG2027 from Rich (thank you, you're a lifesaver, although if I came face to face with the UPS driver that was suppose to deliver the guitar to me when promised, I'd shoot 'em). *
Anyway, I hear lots of requests and complaints to Ibanez but now I think it's time to praise them on such a great guitar. *It's truly amazing in every way. *I prefer this over my UV777BK as far as playablilty is concerned. *The
magnetic pickups just don't cut it compared to other 7-strings, but it fits this guitar just fine. *
Ibanez can make some great stuff. *I've never been upset or unhappy with any of my Ibanez guitars - new or used. *I've owned about 12 of them so far off and on. *I'm the happy owner of 3 Ibanez guitars currently - all of which are of wonderful beauty and sound. *I plan never to part with the ones I currently have.
The RG2027 stands out among the best in my opinion. *I learned guitar on acoustic when I was about 14 and played it until I got my first Jem in 1997 (when I was 22). *I've always wanted to go back to
acoustic guitar, but never had the desire to pull myself away from the electronic wonders before me. *Now I don't have to think about it ever again. *I have the sound of an acoustic guitar (believe me folks, this thing sounds JUST like an acoustic guitar through my Lexicon MPX G2) and capabilities of a nut crunching, double ball-blasting electric all wrapped up in one. *Amazing. *(I'll be soon to post a clip once I stop working 18 hrs a day).
Ibanez - I salute you. *I'm sorry to see this thing go "bye-bye" in production terms. *But, I'm glad I got my hands firmly grasped around one. *Keep up the innovative ideas inspired from this guitar - I'll buy 'em all!
