How bout an Rg Clone

just a thought. Since you guys are making modded jem/rg guitars for your Asian market, how bout:
Make an Rg that clones the JEM 10th:
Black body, abilone binding around the body and neck,
that cool Jem 10th pick gaurd and headstock.

throw in whatever kind of p/ups you want and ad an edge trem. as far as inlays, no dots, but something new, like a cross between the dna and vine inlays...

whatcha think??

I'm sure this won't sit well with some guys who like this idea, but I have to disagree and say keep the JEM10th special,.Sure use the abalone purfling on a black body, but keep the vine inscribed plates for the JEM10 only.

I think certain guitars in the Ibanez line have their own identities and they should stay as such. Sorry to "dis" vwall's opinion but I thought the other side of the arguement was equally valid. Thank you for your time.

The Jem10 is an awsome guitar so I understand that people would like a lot of the same features on another guitar. *However, by copy a guitar, the special unique identity is destroyed. *Sure a "real" Jem10 is still awsome but it won't be the same if a person has to stop and think "Hey is that the Jem or is it the copy." Sorry, but I say no to cloning the Jem10th, there are plenty of new ideas that would be cool to see.

After i posted this thread, i realized that this would be the response as i too agree. but i let it ride anyway considerring Ibanez is cloning the JEms on RG's for their home market.
As far as the scripted pick guard, it doesnt have to have the vines, i just really like the brushed chrome look as well as the headstock.

My folly will soon dissapate when i aquire a 10th at the right $$
I know Gabe has a player but i am looking for one a bit cleaner.
