I love the RG421 but....

I love the RG421! There are just a few things I would like to see on a more expensive model or on an improved RG421 though. First of all I would have preferred a H-S-H pickup config. I would also like to see a fixed bridge model with better pickups (the V7/V8 just don't cut the mustard). A few more color choices would be cool but I am very happy with the RB that I have now.

A fixed-bridge model with direct-mounted pickups (H-H is okay with me) would be great. A couple of fretboard options would be nice, too... rosewood or maple, maybe even a couple of different body wood options, too... alter, ash, mahogany, oil finishes, etc. The 421 has great potential to be an awesome workhorse guitar.

For the money, its a great guitar tho. The only reason i havn't bought an ibanez 4xx is the floyds on them-because i tune up and down a lot it would just be too much hassle. The fixed bridge solves all that tho. And the 5 way switch offering single coil options is so much better than a JS style 3 way. Would like to see a 7421 tho. And what about a wooden cap on the body, like the rg320 has-that dark cherry style is great!
p.s. what about an alder body like 'evo'?

Because the 7621 is better. The 7421 is like the 7621 but down a couple notches on the quality/specs level.
