Re: Ibanez, if you only read one thread here make it this one !!

I just want people to stop whining about cosmetic issues. Root for something useful first - i.e more sevenstrings, or specific models you want back. I don't wanna hear about people going "bring back sharktooth/offset inlays" or "reverse headstocks" or "this or that paintjob". Request something that matters, and also for more people than just yourself. Like many others in here, I am disappointed in the selection of 7-strings.

I personally have absolutely no use for a 7-string. I have a use for offset dots as they look really cool and my eyes like them.

I see your point, but let's put up a thread to find out what's more important to the majority - more sevenstring guitars vs. offset inlays.

Indeed. No one cares if you like 7's or not.

Zepp, JS models are too expensive.

Indeed it's way overprice for the Joe's model, but we don't have a choice, if Ibanez make the Radius an option than those Satriani models could not even sell I think.

But maybe Ibanez don't make a Radius any longer because it didn't sell?

I don't think so, Joe makes it popular and I will definitely buy 1. It's design is almost like the S model but with more rounded option and there's a lot of other models that Ibanez stop producing not because of unpopularity.
Maybe a reiissues of it will be fine just like the RG550.

[BTW...Your pic came out real nice in the 2007 catalog Mr. Hosono!!! (p.3 with Mr. Gilbert and Mr. Roberts)[/quote]

Thanks, but I lost 20 pounds after I took picture with Matt. I don't have round face anymore. Thank God. I did asked Hoshino USA to photo shop my face but they refused my request.

On seven strings! And mahogany and ash seven strings, RGT seven strings. Reversed headstock seven strings. 27" scale seven strings. Colors other than black and royal blue. Like flat black But white, desert yellow, road flare red, would be nice. Like a seven string RG550.

Most important stuff in bold. Basswood isn't the best choice for a seven.
