Re: Ibanez, if you only read one thread here make it this one !!

One suggestion, I don't know if it's been made before or not. How about some kind of clear sleeve in the jack socket on the S-series guitars? Even as an aftermarket mod... I'm just a bit wary of knocking chunks out of it every time I plug it in....

Ibanez, great job on the goldtop SZ320's (unearthly guitar for only $440US, and some SZ320's are being sold for $300 right now, which is insane). I believe the gold option has been discontinued, but I rather liked it; especially the little metal flakes in the paint. Everytime I see one in stores, I usually try it out, because I'm almost certain it'll be of grade A quality. Finally, a guitar company that fits my hands like a glove. Thanks for offering great guitars.

I dont know if i'm alone on this one, but Ibanez, do you think you see your way to a few more bolt on neck RG's with Trems, that DONT have middle single coils. Two Hum Buckers are good enough for a lot of people i know and the Middle PU is just dam annoying... More options please!

Ibanez should offer a real 80s shred axe:

-Reverse headstock
-maple fretboard
-AANJ
-H-S pup config
-white color with matching headstock
-offset dot inlays
-all black hardware

So basically a RG565 in different color, with offset dot inlays and a AANJ.

Of course the AANJ is more of a 90's thing, it should technically have the tilt heel neck joint like the RG550 re-issues did.

Well, I should've written "ultimate updated shred guitar of the 80s" and in that case the AANJ is a must, IMO.

Dear Mr. Hosono,

I am respectfully requesting some upper end left handed models. Guitars and Basses. I know many left handed players here in Cincinnati would be very grateful for a high end SR bass, Roadgear bass, or anything that isn't beginner.

Thanks for the time!

Dear Mr. Hosono,

I really like the S series and I think the 24 fret neck is an awsome edition. One think I would really enjoy seeing is the S5470 in some different colours, i.e. Red Viking (from S470). I find colours like that much nicer than the transparent colours. In my opinion, I think it would be really nice to have a 24 fret S guitar that was not a prestige so that people on a tight bugget can get an S guitar with 24 frets.

Sincerly

Re: Ibanez, if you only read one thread here make it this one !!

Mr Hosono,

I am the proud owner of a 1982 AR105 Artist, and let me tall you; it's by far my favorite set neck guitar I own.

Due to the age, the cream coloured ring surrounding the pickup selector switch has long since disintegrated, and one of the knobs is broken on the inside where the splice meets the spline on the tone pot post. It was cracked when I bought it 9 years ago and it finally gave out recently.

I was wondering if there's any source through Ibanez for replacement suregrip knobs. I know suregrip II are available, but I'd like to keep it original without paying a minimium of $50 for a used set from auction websites.

I'm looking for 1 suregrip knob and a replacement for the backing ring for the toggle switch.

Kindest regards.

Something like my old RGR620TKS?
http://www.flickr.com/photos/psychovivaldi/382155729/

RG series with Ash bodies, bound Ebony fingerboard, sharktooth inlay, reversed headstock, 2 direct mounted humbuckers & lo-pro with piezo 6 string?

Is that too much to ask?

I'd be very happy just with RG5XX coming out like they were. Or making a few more variations of the 15XX series. Maybe like 1560 and so on. Maybe a few more RGA types too.

Other than that I'm fairly happy.
