A little less "horny" Xiphos would be nice, something like this:

In left handed too ?

Re: Ibanez, if you only read one thread here make it this one !!

Sorry for the people in here but I am a different guitarist.
I care only for feel and playability. Make a guitar as ugly as you like but make it extremely good in terms of playability. I buy it.
All that I care in aguitar is the playability and reliability nothing else.
I don't mind even when the guitar has a big wound on it's belly. It can even have a hole in it. The finish can be torn down. As long as it provides me with a good neck, good trem and good sound I play it anywhere. I don't care if people laugh when they look. They will definetly shut up when I play.
A big deep wound (cut or scratch) on the top of a guitar, no problem for me as long as it plays fine.
I never had the money to buy expensive. Tommorrow comes the first guitar I buy new.
Before today, I always bought parts that I had to put together. I always hed to do painting and more things. There was a lot of work on any guitar and in the end they all used to break down after some time.
I couldn't afford to be fastidous like you guys do. Not everyone is that rich looking for look in a guitar.

I was looking at the bass catalogue, seen the SR500 with unique neck wood combination.
Is it possible to do that on RG ?

I mean..
change the basic ingredients of the RG neck material from : maple and whatever, to :
maybe : mahogany with walnut ..?

Or go back to the original edge. So what if you have to pay licensing fees. Raise the guitar's price by 12$. Woop-de-f***ing doo.

Re: Ibanez, if you only read one thread here make it this one !!

This thread is awesome. I go and read threads on thegearpage.net and read people complaining about Henry Juszkiewicz' latest "new and exciting" improvement to the Les Paul. They'd all be perfectly happy if Gibson would just make a 1 for 1 copy of the '59 for the next hundred years.

I come here and it's the same with Ibanez, and I cannot help but agree. Bright colors, REAL sharkfin inlays, maple and rosewood boards, please. Original Edge would be awesome, I'll pay the extra cash, personally if I have to, for the licensing fee.

bringing back the Original EDGE isn't a 'personal taste' factor, but a 'quality and stability' factor.

If you're going to ask CAN$900+ for an S series (S670) at least improve the quality and install some better pickups,

Guys... as cited by Rich all FR patents have expired. There is no licensing fee to use the edge trem or any floyd type trem on their guitars.
