Re: Ibanez parts Online

I think hardware would be a good idea....bridges, pickguards, strap locks, volume / tone pots...ect. This would save me from having to search the Ibanez website for the part numbers, then going to my dealer and waiting 2-3 weeks for the parts to come in.

Re: Ibanez parts Online

No offense, but that list of parts is pretty weak. I would like to see a complete list of:

Pick guards
Tuning keys
Bridges
Pickup trim rings
Knobs

And finally replacement necks for the older RGs!

If Fender can offer parts and maintain brand image, then Ibanez should be able to.

*EDIT*

I just read that someone from Hoshino USA registered in 2003, but only have seven posts??? I would think Ibanez would want more contact with its core customers.

What's too say they haven't been reading and getting ideas? Ibanez also has it's own official forum now, so I'm sure you'd have a better chance of getting more "contact" with them there.

As for what I'd like to see available online, everything. But I also release most companies are reluctant to do this.

BTW, just noticed they have Trem Arms availble for less than I could find most other places.

Re: Ibanez parts Online

YAY!!! cheap trem arms are available! i am going to order extras.

If they offered trems around the same price of original floyd roses, i bet they would do extremely well.

Re: Ibanez parts Online

NECKS! Original Wizard Profile, Viper Profile, MAPLE FINGERBOARDS, Reverse Headstocks. Exchange only basis. If you want a new Ibanez neck, you have to send an old or damaged Ibanez neck in. And they shouldn't cost $500. $250-$300 max is more reasonable. --Jason
