I understand that this fireman is a collectors edition, all that im saying is that they should make one for the bedroom shredders who make up a majority of their customers. It doesnt have to be the one theyre selling now

First of all, I hope that bumping up this post is not disturbing too much

Yes, I'm with you too. The limited edition Fireman is a collectible item an an amazing guitar but unaffordable for most of us...probably a bolt on Fireman with cheaper components would be a way to make happy to the ones that desire to get one but also to the korina owners that want a unique and valuable guitar...time will tell...but I think Ibanez is going to take advantage of the popularity that Gilbert is having in last years with more models soon. Hopefully I'm not wrong...

Nononononono....
Don't say b***-o*!!!
They might seriously do that!
If they did, it would turn me off biiiiig time.
Cheaper components would be cool, cause they are upgradeable. A bolt neck isn't!
Here's my theory: Guitars designed with set neck/thru neck should stay that way. Try liking a bolt-on Les Paul, SG, or a Martin or something like that. Just nasty. Not saying Strats/Teles suck, cause they were designed with bolt necks. Same with a JEM.
My rant over.

hahahahahahaha you're right! Personally I love bolt-on necks but Icemans and Firemans are neck-thru guitars and so should be...I haven't said anything! still want an affordable Fireman's version!

RGs are bolt on or neck thru. Go figure.

CHA CHING!
well they are amazing sounding guitars but there by far not 9,000 dollors and i would never buy it for that. first of all the quality of that korina is not much better then any other guitars korina as it does not change much. also i could thow in a pair of area 67 in a much cheaper korina and it would sound very nice i dont need the middle one if i cant get it the middle pickup is not worth 8,000 to 7,000 dollors more. plus the korina version of the les paul is 7,500 and personally thats as good if not better. they have to lower the price. epiphone sells 500 dollor korina guitars. i could with the rest of the 8,500 easilly customize it to fit 3 area 67 if i wanted to. and do it even easier with a luthier custmizing the project from the start for much less too. ibanez is really not selling that for what its worth.

Re: Ibanez PGMs
1. Who said anything about them being $9000? They're not cheap, but they're only $9000 if you're a moron that doesn't know how to buy or shop.
2. What is "worth"? These guitars are "worth" it to the people that have bought them. If they're not worth it to you, Ibanez doesn't care. That's why they only made 45 of them, and that's all that has to believe they're worth the price of admission.

Re: Ibanez PGMs
Talk about 'worth' aside, it would be cool to have a full-blown prestige production model. Even if its just a bolt-on basswood.
