Locking Studs on Edge Pro's
From what I have read the anchors have to be change to use
locking studs
on the
edge pro trems
.
Not a complaint just please put the anchors in for locking studs. It would make my life a lttle brighter..

Re: Locking Studs on Edge Pro's
yeah but it would be nice if they came like that as standard as it would cost next to nothing for them to do at the factory!

Re: Locking Studs on Edge Pro's
Look here to see why Ibanez decided to remove the locking studs.

Yeah, I'd like to find the person who decided to not install locking studs on new
Ibanez guitars
and start throwing punches!

yeah i read that, i dont see peoples stupidity as being a reason to stop something though! maybe if it came with big warning stickers on the studs saying "read manual before adjusting action" then it would bypass the problem in a few cases!
they wouldnt have to change the manual since it still tells you to loosen the locking bit in the current manual! which led to much confusion stud examining when i got my one!!

Re: Locking Studs on Edge Pro's
or they could start setting up guitars without locking the stud-locks before the guitars left the factory. so, the un-acknowledged people wouldn't blow'em out when adjusting the action, WHILE the acknowledged ones would be free to lock'em down.

Re: Locking Studs on Edge Pro's
lol i've just been unmounting the trem just after one of the studs broke .
so , for the moment the guitar is sleeping gently on my couch and the trem is on my desk !
*i scary myself , i love my guitars too much oO*
for the studs i've found this one :
http://www.thomann.de/fr/ibanez_2le2_b.htm
i need 1 stud , i will buy 1 stud
even if it's non-locking , i never locked any edge and it worked fine ... i will buy harley benton 1€ strings packs (you know , always useful to have rescue strings lol ) and some new trem springs ... too ... always useful , since mine are a bit worn ...
and voila , a new guitar ... ready for rock'n'roll , gentlemen ?
