Maple Fingerboards

Why are there so few Medium/High range Ibanez guitars available with Maple fingerboards there days?

My RG has a Maple board and I would choose it over Rosewood anyday :biggrin:

Now that's something I agree with 100%. All of my favourite Ibanez guitars (PMC, UVGR, RG-Art, etc) have maple boards, all of my main guitars have maple fretboards, and I'd dearly love to see some better-looking maple-necked guitars in the Ibanez catalogue.

Yep...I agree. Maple fretboards and maybe even an ebony on RG5xx and S5xx and higher.
