I used to be a HUGE fender guy...back a couple years ago. *It was all about the fender strat...until i got my hands on an Ibanez rg prestige(
texas prestige in natural w/ gold hardware), then for me it was the death of fender...lol...nothing beats a nice rg or jem. *the only problem is...when i was a fender dude...i had a lot of colors to choose from...(that's relative) *I love ibanez but i want more than grey...grey...brown and maybe a red here and there...My new 3120 in blue flame *is beautiful...the 520qs was nice...though on a lot of models the stain was too dark to see the quilt. *I just think a little more variety in colors would be nice. *kudos to the new 3120 w/ purple flame...ill get w/ rich eventually for one...lol...and neck thru...nice...
maybe metallics...more flames on maybe a 520 or even 570...those are midrange models...but even fender's got sunburst on a
mexican strat...
