More Lefties!!!

This is my comment/question to Ibanez. It would be a great thing if some of their signature models would become available in left. Well the JEM 555 was available in left a few years back but again it only had a LO TRS II trem plus only inlay until the 12th fret and so on. I would love to see a JEM7VWH or a JS1000BK as a left.

This is something that puzzles me a bit, at Jackson Guitars, there most of their guitars are available in left and you have a possibility to do some costumising of the guitar. I never understood why Ibanez hasn't set something like that.

Kind Regards

André

with the sig models, it's the artists, not Ibanez, who would have say. As to other high-end ibanez lefty models, they actually made a lot of progress in the last model year. I think commendation on a first step well done is definately in order here, before we keep begging for more- they've done a good job so far.

I have a new RG1570L, after a set of EVO's the guitar is nearly perfect. I give Ibanez a lot of credit for building it. If not Signatures, I would love to see more Prestiges available. A RGT3120L or a S1620L would be nice. The reason Ibanez has not sold many Lefties in the past is because only entry level models were made available. A lot of us Lefties want quality guitars & are prepared to pay for it.

plus i hate the fact that you have to pay extra for a lefty. even though i'm not left handed it still pisses me off for some reason. i know it costs more for them to make it because they don't mass produce them as much as right handed guitars, but it is annoying when my friend has to pay 200 more for the same guitar i have.

Gah, being left handed gives me more headaches than its worth with guitars.

Just recently I have been informed that Ibanez won't sell left handed Edge7 bridges on their own. If I want to get one ... i'd have to buy a whole new guitar.

Not impressed :/

AFAIK Ibanez doesn't even make an MIJ lefty 7, all LP7's and any EP7's would be reserved for endorcee's. You can always buy a K7 Lo Pro [unless they're not selling them either]

Newp, not selling those either. I thought 'hey i'll get one of those korn ones, take off the U bar and chuck in an arm' but no. Denied.

Which strikes me as a bit mean to be honest :/ It's hard enough finding decent left handed guitars without more obstacles.

I just want to get rid of all my TRS bridges. I have 3 lefty ibanez guitars and i love them except that I can't use the trem too much or they go out of tune. I can replace the 6 string ones with FRPros but not the 7 :/

I'm left handed too, and I have to build all my guitars because I can't find anything decient at the music stores where I live, and I'm certianly not going to buy something I can't try out. I would love a 7 string left handed Ibanez though. I don't think I've seen a left handed 7 string before, just cheapo epiphones and strats.

I'd love to see a JS1000 or JS1200 to be made available for lefthanded players. I've felt a righthanded one before and though i'm not that skilled with my right hand I definitly am sure I want one for the left. What a guitar! I like my RG270 but it feels way to rough when compared to a JS. It is now time for me to move on to a higher quality.

I play a JS left-handed. It's perfect. The only problem I really have with it is that it's hard to play anything very accurately past the 19-20th frets. I'm thinking about buying a cheapo RG270DXMG and customizing it like how I did with my JS.
