more trem options

anybody else want to see more options than just fully floating or hardtail on the RG range? the S range gets SAT pro, hardtail and ZR, and id quite like to see the SAT pro or SAT bridge on an RG rather than block my edge pro for dive only!!
i sense that with this being JEMsite i may be in a minority here though....

Re: more trem options

No, I agree with you there completely. I would very cool if you could get an RG with a Wilkinson VS100 and some locking tuners.

Re: more trem options

it's a non-sense that we have only Prestige RGs with Floyd. there's no reason to not have a fixed bridged or a SAT bridged Prestige (which is a pretty nice and quality bridge in itself).
pretty much like there's no reason for the ZR trem to be installed on the S-series only...

Re: more trem options

Moreover, i believe that more fixed piezo equipped and/or graphtech stringsaver equipped RGs would be as a good choice in the market.

More wood, more tone, ie believe

Re: more trem options

The RG prestigue line is very consistant and it seems theres an image that they want to maintain with it across the range. SATs look a little tame to me and the gibrator is a bit LTDish (which is what the SZs are for).

I think they should make another 24 frett line with more trem option like with the S / SA. I certainly dont think they shouldnt have more options.

Re: more trem options

I dont care about my obvious ignorance about the difference between an S and an SA, its just an example.

The Wilkinson unit and locking tuners would be perfect additions for the RGA. --Jason

Re: more trem options

whoa i put this thread up over a week ago and only today has it got some responses, 0 posts in 9 days, 11 posts in one! crazy!
and it would be nice to see a wilky on one but i thought SAT was a better suggestion in terms of being able to get one on a guitar since it is ibanez made and i suspect they wouldnt like the idea of putting another companys bridge in given how theyve developed their own floating trems instead of just sticking a floyd in like EVERY other manufacturer!!
although having said that they do have a wilky on the andy timmons model...
who knows!
