Actually.........I thought I was staying on earth, especially since Ive been an Ibanez user since before Vai ever teamed up with them, or even before I knew who Vai was. Is my question a waste of time?............probably But, this thread was started by me as a direct question to Mr. Hosono. I probably understand how valuble his time is and appreciate it more then anyone here. If hes the person people can sometimes come to here and get answers..........................whats the problem? I have played 7 strings exclusively since the first year they hit the market..........and have never owned a 6 string since. I would like to think that my opinions/questions should have as much consideration as anyone else here.
But..................like I said.............that doesnt mean it isnt a waste of time.

What happened to the JPM neck? As far as I know this was a USA custom neck to begin with and shouldn't have to be out of production after Petrucci left. so why isn't that neck available on a great guitar anymore? I know I will never buy another Ibanez, because there is no model that have a neck that I like, so I am still searching the second hand marked for a used neck, to put on a used body of a certain quality.
