Piezo Jem and UV - next evolutionary step

numerous people have talked about this before, but I think its worth reiterating here,

A piezo model jem (perhaps the replacement for the never ending VWH????) would be a nice addition to the line.

would Vai use it???

drop a reply if you agree

Steve

Well, since Ibanez doesn't respond directly on this Forum, don't expect a reply from them. :-)

When it comes to the JEM and UV (and *all* signature models), it's really up to the artist to make ANY sort of changes to their line. *Ibanez offers 110% control to the artist over their signature guitar line. *

With that said, your best bet would be to contact Vai (www.vai.com) and explain your desire, and why it would sell thousands of guitars. *While you're there, ask him if he's a piezo fan. **

P.S.- I LOVE my CST (7-string w/ piezo), so don't think I'm against the Double Edge trems. *Hell, I came up with the KJG Wiring Mod for them!

yeah man copied that post for when my 2027 arrives, takes years to get anything here in sh*tsville.

I used to post all the time on vai.com but then they shut the board down, so I came here and never looked back.

apologies,

I also noticed that there is a much welcomed lack of "Vai is better than Satch" posts and vice versa

Just a wee note. A piezo 'sustainer' model would be a great ADDITION to the line let's not give Ibanez the impression that we want the 7vwh stopped.

Comment noted. Unfortunately Steve doesn't use piezo at this time, so putting one on his SIGNATURE guitar would seem to be pointless... glen
