I reckon the Powdered Cosmo Hardware is excellent, and I believe the finish will last longer than the standard cosmo, or the gold.

Ibanez you're on a good thing with the powder finished hardware. I for one want more.

I admit it's not a bad looking finish and appears it'll hold up for a long long time. I do miss the sheen of the cosmo though. For looks I like the Cosmo and ESPECIALLY the Violet Chrome, but for the durability which has been a prime complaint from players, this powder coat is pretty good stuff :thumbsup:

Just had an idea.

What if The Cosmo hardware and the gold hardware were powder coated with a clear?

is that possible. A clear coat over the top of the shiny hardware would make it more durable.
