Hello, at first sorry for my english 'cause i'm french.
1 year ago i bought an Ergodyne EDR 470 EX , i bring it to a music shop to tune it better that i can. When come back for my guitar, i learned that it is not easy to tune it perfectly ( like a good Ibanez ) because i have a little bump from the 1st fret to the 5 or 6 th fret what a surprise. Well i went to the shop where i bought it and let it for repair (absolutely normal for the moment). After the repair i verify the job and surprise the bump is always there, they just set higher the strings so perfectly tuned the string don't buzz but now in my opinion i don't play anymore on an Ibanez guitar but on a very low cost product like vantage & the others. So i contact Mogar Music (they import for France your product) after a short interview, they show my Ergodyne and the answer was that they have seen that the neck isn't perfect , with high level for the strings my guitar is perfectly tuned so don't want to do more for me, i'm in the warranty time (2 years) and if i wanted to change the neck i'll pay for the shipment. They call to me that for a product at this price (650€ ~ 640 $) it's normal to have this sort of problems and if i wanted less i must buy a Jem product to be in right to have an optimized customer service !!!!! Is it normal ? The Ergodyne EDR 470 EX is for me at this time the most expensive model for an Ergodyne ( not so expensive as a Jem product ok) . What can i do?? contact one more time Mogar Music ( i work in computer shop & i anderstand that this the only one response they will give to me ). I find that your products are great but for France the customer service does'nt really exist for normal products ( money talk to money ). Now i m looking for a Jem 555 but i'm waiting ... maybe next year. i tuned my guitar like an Ibanez an continue to play, but with a lot of buzz.
P.S. My tremolo is not in parallel with the neck ? is it normal.
Thank you if you read this.
