Sabre style input jacks... - Why not have them on an RG styl

I have had a sabre for 4 years now, and the thing i probably love most about it is the positioning of the input jack, so:

Why not have an RG with this style of input jack? Not only would it look cool, but it would be immensly practical as well, as I think most of us loop our cables behind our guitar straps... And then noone would have to keep going "why don't they put the JEM jack on the RG?", because they'd still be distinct.

I almost managed to get one put into a custom I had made a couple of years ago (but the guy screwed up, put a normal jackplate on..yuck!, but the guitar was gorgeous, so I forgave him ) and I have seen it once on a jackson, but never really seen it anywhere else, and I am not too sure I ever saw it on the jackson...

I know this feature is a very distinct part of the sabre, but it would be cool on other guitars as well!

What does everyone else think?

Sabre style input jacks...

One reason might possibly be that the S series are carved tops, as oppose to the flat-tops of RG's. I imagine trying to install something like that into a flat-top will not look anything like the S series and will probably be a royal pain in the ass....

* * ...better solution...make an angle-jack!!!

*I personally feel the S series input jack is a feature for S's and should be kept to them. I dont know if that made sense hopefully you know what I mean. I'm terrible at writing.

Personally I think the jack looks good on a sabre but I wouldn't like to play one. I just have visions of teh bar getting caught in the cord.

Jem jack it or leave it alone IMHO

I like my S series guitars. I even like the front jack. However, I agree with Pablo about the trem worries, plus it would just look funny to me. I'm old fashioned that way.
