Treat me like I'm Japanese!! - please release all RG's to Am

I was looking over at Ishibashi Music the other day, and I can't believe the number of beautiful RG's they have available to them. *I own an RG, a JEM, and an EX. *But I'd probably *buy two more RG's if I had all the options they have. *Reverse headstocks, single coils, RG-560s, burnt red and blue finishes, and all those prestige models...the list goes on and on. *Please introduce these great kinds of products into the American market, I know you have buyers for them

I agree, at times I almost thinks that Americans aren't good enough for some of their models and they through us a bone every once in awile just to keep us quite.

especially considering how starved the US market is for something different. *The Ibanez USA line could use some color. *And tons of folks love the BSB look, just think how cool a Burnt Stained Red finish would look on an affordable quality axe like a 570. *I'm drooling now. *Slap a mirrored pickguard on that bad boy and you've got a sexy sexy plank of wood

All ibanez has to do is make it an option that their dealers can have them sent over here if a costumer asks for it even if the dealer can't keep them in stock.

I have a '99 Japanese catalog, and I have to agree
it is in no way fair the amount of sweeeeeeet RG's
they can get! Don't get me started on the Sig. models
there is like 6 PGM's, the BSB jems are still kickin', Satch
has a Burnt model, Reverse headstocks- hardtail Rg's-
80's colors--- it'll make ya sick, honestly the catalog
is just Ibanez *"love"
- teeeeeeaaaaaaassssssseeeeee!

I think the biggest problem is lack of interest in the USA. *There aren't nearly as many people here who still enjoy the type of music that these guitars are related to. *(you and I excluded, but we're only 1600 strong)

Now, overseas, I am sure that people like Steve Vai and Dream Theater and whomever can still probably play an arena (or something larger than a local bar like they do in the good 'ol USA.)

The overseas consumer is an easy target because their "heroes" are more widely regarded, and 2 X as popular.

Makes sense. I've made up my mind, first I will learn Japanese, next I will become a millionare and finally move to Japan. Well I can always dream.

well what about this, if they could even just make those models available by order to the US, it would be great.

Funny thing is I live in Japan and I'm being told so far that Ibanez isn't even popular here. Seems like it's alot more popular in the states with artist like Vai, Satch, Korn, & Limp Bizkit so I don't understand why Ibanez doesn't make more of these models available to the US since you have so many people drooling over them!

Scott 74, do you see a lot of those models available? *I'm completely with you. *Especially with Korn as their newest endorsers, you'd think now is the best time for Ibanez to introduce more *options.

I haven't heard or seen any news or catalog for Ibanez Japan 2001 yet but I do have the 2000 catalog. The only Japan exclusive (hope I spelled right) Ibanez models I've actually seen in stores for sale are the RG models. I haven't had a chance to hit the large dealers i've heard of in Tokyo and Shinjuku, but I know you can easily order straight from the catalog if there is something specific you want. *cough* blue JS1000 *cough*

very cool. *This is definately a model that should be available in the US. *Jackson is eating Ibanez's lunch in the high end superstrat market. *The Jackson USA models sell so much more than 570s, because they look just like the 450s, the 685 looks nicer.

I second all of this.

I am incapable of lengthy messages as I am recuperating from my last visit to the japan site.
