UV1000C with all new Jems and UV's

I think a decision should be made from IBANEZ that the UV1000C cases should be included in the price of all new Jems and Universes in every country. The cost of a new Jem and UV is high enough to have the case part of the instruments price tag. I don't see the sense in selling different cases in different countries and some not even being sold at all in other countries.

Ibanez should be consistent and take care of the people that kept them in business and made them the company they are today.

Your gripe is not with Ibanez but with the distributors. They do and order as they wish. Typically the UV1000 is only available in North America as it's specifically ordered by the US distributors. Canada also gets the case but theirs don't have the Ibanez logo on them. If you want the case to be included in the price look for the price to go up to match what the 2 would be separate.

Outside the USA Ibanez distributors can buy SKB (or other brand) cases cheaper (from other distributors) than the actual Ibanez/SKB cases. This cost saving measure is impossible to prevent and another reason for the non-standardization of cases. Just a product distribution reality... glen
