Re: What next for the Ibanez reissues?
Those vinnie moore models are really rare, bringing back a model like that would probably hack off a lot of collectors who've searched high and low to find them.

Reb Beach models, Vinnie Moore models, Gambale models... guys, FORGET about Ibanez reissuing models that aren't endorsed any longer by decades now. be realistic, please.

Re: What next for the Ibanez reissues?
It would be nice to get some of those players back with NEW sigs, though. I can't see them bringing back the Voyager or FGMs, but I'll bet those guys could come up with interesting new models or variations if they came back to Ibanez. We can dream, can't we?
Oh, and bring back the RG565.

Re: What next for the Ibanez reissues?
I think Ibanez should let the people vote from a list of preselected models by which the company would consider making reissues out of. If they are doing it for the PGM20th, they should let the people decide what should be reissued.

Re: What next for the Ibanez reissues?
Jem 777DY for sure. Nice and simple, exactly as is. I would welcome updates to it, like newer hardware or an AANJ, but "as is" is just fine. I'd buy one of those for sure.
If I really got my hopes up, I'd also wish for a reissue of the Jem 77GMC and 77PMC.

Re: What next for the Ibanez reissues?
I really want Ibanez to re(?) release the Ibanez RG550 in black w/ maple fretboard. I would buy one tomorrow if they were produced. I know this year they are producing similar models in orange and blue, but black is where it's at. It's a classic staple color.

they did reissue a black rg550 with rosewood fretboard in 2007 along with the road flare red and desert yellow, it was the 20th anniversary. i myself got the dy one. the black was the only 1 out of the 3 that were not maple.
here watch paul gilbert talk about it

there are actually two black+maple prestige RGs this year:
3550M and 2450M
as well as the non-prestige RG350M.

Re: What next for the Ibanez reissues?
Thanks for the info on the RG3550M. Is it sold in the USA? I can't find it on Sweetwater.com or even Ibanez's site, for that matter. It appears to be what I'm looking for: black pickguard, black body, and maple fretboard w/ dot inlays. Classic and simple. In fact, if they only made the RG1550ML in a left hand model, I'd be all set to buy one.
